Profitview Analytics provides analytics and reporting tools that help merchants calculate profit, margins, and advertising performance for Shopify stores.

The Service is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. Profitview does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store to install and use the App.

By using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to bind the store owner to these Terms.

3. Account Access & Permissions

By installing the App, you grant Profitview permission to access your Shopify store data and any connected third-party advertising platforms only as authorized by you and only to provide analytics and reporting functionality.

Profitview uses read-only access for advertising platforms and does not create, modify, manage, or place advertisements.

4. Merchant Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate store, cost, and configuration data
• Ensuring that any data you input (such as COGS) is correct
• Maintaining appropriate access controls for your Shopify account
• Reviewing analytics outputs before making business decisions

Profitview is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect or incomplete data provided by you.

5. Accuracy & Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate analytics, the Service relies on data from Shopify and third-party platforms, which may be delayed, incomplete, or revised.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Profitview makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of analytics, profit calculations, or reports.

You acknowledge that business and advertising decisions made based on the Service are made at your own risk.

6. Payments & Billing

If the Service includes paid plans:

• Fees are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• You are responsible for applicable taxes

Billing is handled through Shopify or a designated payment provider.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect data. By using the Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Profitview and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as Shopify and advertising platforms. Profitview is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required to comply with legal obligations.

Upon termination or uninstallation, data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Profitview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Profitview from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
